We recently replaced a deck for the Reece’s in Palm Lakes after some damage from the floods. We planted 120 x 120 Treated Pine posts to reinforce the substructure a bit. Previous deck relied on a poured concrete slab around the pool, but unfortunately the sand underneath shifted.
We used CCA Treated Pine substructure and Treated Pine deckboards. We initially quoted on Balau but convinced the client to go with Pine saving them 42%.
